Boat Tour Around the Island of Capri

The excursion begins at the main ports on the island of Ischia (Forio, Lacco Ameno, Casamicciola, Ischia Porto), where you’ll board a comfortable motorboat bound for Capri. During the crossing, you’ll be able to admire the picturesque coastline of the island of Procida, known for its colorful villages and crystal-clear waters, with a scenic passage near the islet of Vivara, a nature reserve of great beauty.

Arrival is scheduled at the Marina Grande Port, the island’s main port of call, which welcomes visitors with its typical scenery of multicolored houses and lively bars and restaurants. From here, you can choose to explore the island on your own or book additional excursions through travel agencies and the tour operators’ support network.

During the approximately two and a half hours of free time, you can visit the famous Piazzetta di Capri, the beating heart of the island, accessible via the iconic funicular. Strolling through the elegant streets of the town center, you can admire the luxury boutiques and historic cafés or continue on to the Gardens of Augustus, a marvelous viewpoint overlooking the famous Faraglioni. History buffs can visit the Certosa di San Giacomo, one of the oldest monasteries in the Mediterranean.

Alternatively, for those who want to enjoy the sea, you can rent a boat or a gozzo for a tour around the island, with the opportunity to visit the Blue Grotto (admission not included) and other picturesque sea caves, such as the Green Grotto and the White Grotto.

We recommend casual, lightweight clothing and comfortable shoes for walking along the island’s roads and scenic trails. During the summer, it’s a good idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. If you plan to go swimming, we recommend bringing a swimsuit and a beach towel.
