Boat Trip to Positano and Amalfi

The tour departs from the main ports on the island of Ischia (Forio, Lacco Ameno, Casamicciola, Ischia Porto) and sails across the Gulf of Naples toward the Amalfi Coast. Along the way, the boat will sail past the island of Capri, offering a spectacular view of its iconic Faraglioni rocks.

The first stop on the excursion is Positano, one of the jewels of the Amalfi Coast, famous for its pastel-colored houses clinging to the cliffs and its artisanal boutiques. After disembarking, you’ll have about two hours of free time to explore the village: you can stroll through the characteristic cobblestone streets, visit the Church of Santa Maria Assunta with its majolica-tiled dome, relax on Spiaggia Grande, or shop at the local fashion boutiques and stores selling handmade sandals. Photography enthusiasts can capture breathtaking views from the famous Via Cristoforo Colombo.

After the tour of Positano, the cruise will continue along the coast for about forty minutes, offering enchanting views of coves and cliffs plunging into the sea, until we reach Amalfi, the oldest of the Maritime Republics. Here, you’ll have about two hours of free time to explore the historic center, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We recommend visiting the majestic Cathedral of Sant’Andrea, with its imposing Arab-Norman façade and spectacular staircase. Those who wish can explore the Paper Museum to discover the centuries-old tradition of handmade paper production or treat themselves to a sweet break by sampling the famous lemon delicacy at one of the historic local pastry shops.

For those interested, from the Amalfi marina, you can take a boat to the picturesque Emerald Grotto (admission not included), a natural cave characterized by an incredible play of light and green reflections on the crystal-clear water.

In the afternoon, we’ll set off for the return trip to Ischia, arriving in the evening.
